Downtown Springdale Hosts the next LIVE! At Turnbow Concert on Thursday, September 29

Springdale, AR – The Downtown Springdale Alliance hosts its next outdoor concert, LIVE! at Turnbow, on Thursday, September 29. Baang will open up for headliner Big Piph & Tomorrow Maybe.

The opening act, Jeremiah Pickett or “Baang,” found his love for storytelling and music at the University of Arkansas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Baang now works for a nonprofit where he uses his experience and cultural awareness to mentor young creatives nationwide. The headliner Chane "Big Piph" Morrow is a Stanford-educated MC and community builder from Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  He performs regularly with his 7-piece band, Tomorrow Maybe. He is lead coordinator of jUSt and Global Kids-Arkansas, which sends high-performing high school students from underserved communities abroad to do social service projects.

The free outdoor concert takes place at Turnbow Park and inside the Outdoor Dining District. Music begins at 6:30PM. In addition to the live music, Downtown Springdale is hosting three special events the same evening. All events are open to the public. Details below.

Spring Creek Litter Cleanup. Help remove litter around Spring Creek at 4PM before LIVE! at Turnbow begins. Clean up supplies will be provided. Please wear clothes appropriate for being in tall grasses and near water. Dinner will be provided for all volunteers afterwards. Volunteers are encouraged to stay and enjoy the live music in Turnbow Park! Details at https://fb.me/e/2dQ2fCkEh.
