Downtown Springdale Announces Special Concert Featuring Jenee Fleenor at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks – October 7
Concert included in the line-up of events for Ozarktober 2022.
Springdale, AR – Downtown Springdale announces a special concert featuring Jenee Fleenor & Friends: An All Star Bluegrass Band. Members of the band include Nashville’s cream of the crop -- Josh Martin, Johnny Meyer, Jason Hoard and Barry Bales. The concert takes place at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks on Friday, October 7th from 7-9PM.
Jenee Fleenor is one of the rare fiddle players -- and only woman in history -- to be named Country Music Association Musician of the Year – three times. And earlier this month she was nominated for her fourth consecutive CMA Musician of the Year award. Her love of music and the fiddle all started here in Springdale.
In the Summer of 2021 the Downtown Springdale Alliance along with more than a dozen community organizations came together to honor her during the Jenee Fleenor Hometown Celebration, a weekend-long celebration in downtown Springdale. “We knew she’d be coming back to perform in downtown Springdale again. It was just matter of time,” says Jill Dabbs, Executive Director, Downtown Springdale. “If you didn’t hear her perform during the Hometown Celebration, get your tickets to this concert. It’s going to be amazing!”
