Also on stage are the Wood Box Heroes, an American acoustic super-group blending country, bluegrass, blues, jazz, rock, and classical into a uniquely compelling experience

Al “Papa Rap” Lopez, originally from Puerto Rico, is an award-winning song writer (John LennonSong Writing Contest) and a charismatic Latino performer, musician, writer, and inspirationalmotivational speaker.

Through meticulously crafted public spaces and play structures and the enchanting presence of native plantings, the butterfly’s pollinating spirit comes to life. 

The hope is that when you embrace the spirit of Luther George Park, you become a part of something greater … it could be peaceful moments of reflection, invigorating outdoor performances, or the joy of community-driven events.
