Local Creatives Take Center Stage at Downtown Springdale’s Fall Art Walk Featuring the Art & Wine Crawl & Monarch Flight Festival
Springdale, AR – Downtown Springdale and the Tyson Family Foundation are proud to present the Fall Art Walk on September 13-14, a two-day celebration of local art, wine, and culture. Downtown galleries, museums, makers’ spaces and businesses will host the artists and open their doors for all kinds of experiences and entertainment. Many of the Art Walk stops are within the Outdoor Dining District making it easy for eventgoers to enjoy food and drinks while they take in the art.
Friday, September 13, 2024 – Art & Wine Crawl (Ticketed Event)
Time: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Kick off your weekend with the Art & Wine Crawl, where art and wine come together for an extraordinary experience in Downtown Springdale. Curated by Jason Willems of Diamond Beverage Group, participants will explore 10 curated wine stops, each featuring exceptional wines from small, family-owned wineries.
Participants will start at The Apollo on Emma for check-ins and the first wine stop. Each wine stop offers a 2 oz pour, and participants are encouraged to rank their favorite wines using a wine ranking sheet provided at the start of the event. Street Projections by Mad Alchemy at the corner of Emma Ave. and Holcomb St.
Saturday, September 14, 2024 – Free Self-Guided Art Walk & Monarch Flight Festival
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday’s free Fall Art Walk invites attendees to explore Downtown Springdale at their own pace, experiencing the vibrant art scene through a self-guided tour. Enjoy local galleries, artists, and public art, all while supporting small businesses.
Additional highlights on Saturday include:
Chalk Walk – Local artists creating live street art at Walter Turnbow Park
RedBall Project – A playful public art installation by Kurt Perschke at Shiloh Square
The Emma Exchange Vendor Market – A showcase of local artisans and vendors at Shiloh Square
Monarch Flight Festival – Celebrate the monarch butterfly migration with art and educational activities
Art Walk is presented by the Downtown Springdale Alliance and the Tyson Family Foundation, with support from Cram-A-Lot, Banco Si, KNWA, MBL Architecture, Ecological Design Group, and The Fortenberrys.
