Downtown Springdale Hosts the Second ART WALK of 2022 on June 11

Springdale, AR – Downtown Springdale is hosting a series of free ART WALKs in 2022 that showcase the talented creatives in the downtown. Galleries, museums, makers’ spaces, and boutiques in Downtown Springdale will open their doors for exhibitions and entertainment during 2022. Many of the creatives work inside the Outdoor Dining District making it easy for event goers to enjoy food and drink while they take in the art.

The second in the ART WALK series takes place on June 11 from 2PM-7PM. Art lovers can enjoy an afternoon stroll through downtown Springdale during this free, self-guided tour featuring a variety of creatives. Event goers can pick up an ART WALK map the day of the event at R McClintock Fine Woodworking Shoppe located at 105 Spring Street. The map also serves as a passport, and event goers who visit each stop on the map are eligible for two tickets to Street Dinner that night, compliments of the Downtown Springdale Alliance.

“Downtown Springdale is rich with creatives — wood workers, soap makers, curators, bakers & painters,” says Rachel McClintock, owner of R McClintock Fine Woodworking Shoppe and organizer of the Downtown Springdale ART WALK. “The ART WALK is such a fun way for the community to see first-hand what our creatives do. Our doors are always open, but during the ART WALK the community can experience a bit more.”

The ART WALK takes place June 11 from 2PM-7PM. Future dates to be announced. The ART WALKS are sponsored by the Tyson Family Foundation and Baldwin & Shell. Details at downtownspringdale.org
