Downtown Springdale Hosts LIVE! At Turnbow Concert on Thursday, May 30

Shannon Wurst Band Opens for Headliner Taylor Smith

Springdale, AR – The Downtown Springdale Alliance hosts the first outdoor concert of the 2024 LIVE! at Turnbow season featuring local musicians through September. This Thursday’s LIVE! at Turnbow showcases opener Taylor Smith and headliner Shannon Wurst Band.

  • Taylor Smith hails from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and has spent the past decade touring extensively alongside his childhood friend Garrett August. Together they co-founded the rock band Vintage Pistol.

  • Shannon Wurst Band’s music is best described as Ozark Americana. Lead singer Shannon is steeped in the outlaw country tradition of courageously confessional songwriters with big hearts and lots of hard luck tales. She has earned favorable comparisons to Margo Price and Lucinda Williams, both strong female leads blazing their own trails in the Americana genre.

The free outdoor concerts take place at Turnbow Park on the last Thursday of the month through September. All concerts begin at 6:30PM.

LIVE! at Turnbow is hosted by the Downtown Springdale Alliance and presented by Walmart. The concert series is supported by dozens of local businesses that are invested in the growth of Downtown Springdale.

The Community Sponsors include: Harps, Arvest, Springdale Chamber of Commerce, Flyer Homes, REIN and Legacy.

The Supporting Sponsors include: The Tyson Family Foundation, Springdale Parks and Rec, Cram-a-lot, McLarty Daniel, Banco Si, Dentistry of the Ozarks, The Fortenberrys, Cromwell, CDI, Northwest Health, and Middleton Heat and Air.
