Downtown Springdale Celebrates Fall in the Ozarks with its 5th Annual Ozarktober

Springdale, AR – Downtown Springdale announces its line-up of events for Ozarktober 2021.

Ozarktober, a celebration of fall in the Ozarks, will be held during the month of October in downtown Springdale. Ozarktober was conceptualized by Downtown Springdale as part of its commitment and partnership with the City of Springdale to bring vibrancy to its downtown. Many of the events will take place outdoors and in the Downtown Outdoor Dining District where the community can gather with ample space to distance themselves.

“We want the community to feel right at home when they come downtown,” says Jill Dabbs, Executive Director, Downtown Springdale. “We’re all about cultivating relationships and bringing people together from all walks of life. Ozarktober is just one of the many events that we host in that spirit, and we love this one because it takes place during such a beautiful season in the Ozarks.”

When attending these events we ask the community to maintain 6ft of distance when possible. Masks should be worn when entering a business that requires one. Northwest Health will be onsite at all Ozarktober events with extra masks and hand sanitizer.

Ozarktober is hosted by Downtown Springdale and presented by Nabholz Construction, a longtime partner of the downtown. “We feel a responsibility to give back to our community, which is why we are proud to sponsor Ozarktober.  It aligns perfectly with Nabholz Construction’s mission to grow our people, serve our clients, and build our communities. We value our relationships in the community and are excited to support such a fun event showcasing everything Downtown Springdale has to offer,” says Michael Parker, President, Nabholz Construction.

Ozarktober is made possible thanks to a variety of local organizations who have come together to provide the community with a festive way to celebrate fall in the Ozarks, including the Tyson Family Foundation, Explore Springdale, Arvest Bank, First Security Bank, Harps, the Springdale Fire Department, Engels and Volkers, CACHE, Springdale Parks & Recreation, George’s Inc., FlintCo, Baldwin & Shell, The City Church of NWA, Northwest Health and CitiScapes.
